"We had a very pleasant stay at this quirky octagonal cottage. It is in a little hamlet up a long lane so was very quiet. The owners house was closer than it seems in the photos but she left us to ourselves unless we needed something. "We had a spacious, well presented and clean gîte. The home is tastefully decorated, lots of interesting decor! The kitchen was incredibly usable for making full meals or sides to accompany grilled meats - we did leave BBQ tools for other guests to take advantage of! We knew the bed linen was afresh as it was left for us to make up the beds and that was a nice touch! A lovely place we will visit again with our "

"On arrival hot tub disgusting not fit to use, however this was rectified quickly and sorted on the Monday. 1st floor toilet out of order meaning guest had to use toilet on other floors which was very inconvenient with children. Curtain poles in bedroom fell down every time a window was opened or closed. No lamps worked in that bedroom and several light bulbs were not working throughout the property. "After not thinking we would be able to holiday due to Covid this was the perfect relaxing retreat. Everything was as we had expected. The log cabin was well equipped and comfortable. The gifts on arrival ( goats cheese , apple juice, jam and cider ) were all lovely and a nice touch. Roaming chickens and cats were an added delight with some eggs given to us in the week. Perfect break."
