"My wife and I finished our bike and barge trips in Bruges and chose to stay at the Hotel Lucca for a few nights. We are glad we did as it's a lovely character hotel with part of it constructed in the 14th Century. Our room was a good size with plenty of space for the two of us, also containing a separate room for the toilet and another for the sink and tub/shower. Lovely period furniture decorated our room. The hotel is close to restaurants and many shops but not so close that you have crowds and noise. My wife and I finished up our Bike and Barge trip in Bruges and chose to stay at the Hotel Lucca. We are glad we did. It's a lovely character hotel with part of it constructed in the 14th century. The owner, Hans, is a lovely man. He's kind and happy to provide information and recommendations. Our room was a good size with plenty of space for the two of us, also containing a separate room for the toilet and another for the sink and shower/tub. Lovely period furniture decorated our room. The hotel is close to many shops and restaurants but not so close that you have crowds and noise. It's about a 15 minute walk to the train station. Breakfast is provided in an old quaint room off of reception. The offerings are ample and Hans is happy to bring out fresh carafes of coffee or cups of tea. If you're visiting Bruges Hotel Lucca is well worth considering. "
