"2nd time staying here for skiing and will be back again. Great ski resort, it was very warm (mid Feb) but most runs were in good enough shape and I even managed to find some excellent off piste runs on slushy snow on south facing slopes. Decent array of food of good quality, comfortable room albeit the family room for 4 is a squeeze. The only other negative is in the evening you might be unlucky at the pool eithferal children running wild with no adult supervision although you can't blame the...

"It's a nice hotel with everything you need, situated at the edge of the town which is superb. We stayed at the end of the ski season. It was incredibly quiet. The rooms are really quite small and very hot. Bed was comfy. The hotel is sited on the corner of two roads. The first room we were given was on the first floor immediately above reception. I could hear the traffic and people talking as they walked by so we were given another room which was still small but without the noise. I doubt there...

"Gorgeous space. The inside of the hotel has to be beautiful ~ it is on a switchback and there is no outdoor area. Just in front of the hotel are a bunch of recycling bins which are ugly. The staff and service was excellent. Breakfast amazing. The room was too hot; the bed was pretty hard. Thankfully had good pillows. Overall I liked my stay. I wish I could have slept better. "

"We did not stay at the Royal Tanau as it was closing for season end, but we were relocated to the Eurostar La Pleta, which was amazing overall. Very nice service, every detail very well looked after. Smooth van service to the ski lift"

Unfortunately breakfast is started late at 8 a. m and as we are travelling an earlier start at 7.30a.m would be better as the service was very slow. We arrived at 8 and did not get a hot drink until 8.20! No croissant or fresh pastry just a bun in a packet to accompany the bread and ham/cheese.. A little disappointing. "A lovely little spot in the Pyrenees. Incredibly charming and beautiful. Overlooks a Romanesque church, with views of spectacular mountain scenery. The proprietors are lovely and provide a wonderful breakfast."
