"The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We appreciated the very comfortable beds after a long day of traveling and the convenience of the community kitchen and laundry facilities. The hotel is just a quick taxi ride from the station. We enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay again should we be in Nikko. "

"Absolutely wonderful room- king bed with private hot spring bath ( room 1127). Wonderful amenities, goodies, drinks in fridge, etc. spacious, clean, well appointed. Half board very fun! Discount tickets for Edo Wonderland. So much fun!! Only 30 minutes to Nikko sightseeing- we had a private driver take us around for the day. Highly recommend 3 nights! One to rest up, one to spend the day at Edo Wonderland, one to enjoy NIKKO. Very relaxing with history and culture, we really enjoyed this area! The hotel has lots of Japanese Princess dolls on exhibit! "

"The hotel was gorgeous! It was very well located near the station, numerous restaurants, and shopping. The buses for temples and shrines as well as tours to the lake and waterfalls were very close by. The onsen was AMAZING and tattoo friendly! The breakfast was plentiful and hearty. I am vegan and my daughter is not. We were both satisfied. The view from the hotel of the mountains was SPECTACULAR! I really wish we had reserved more than one night. I will be back for sure. "

"Amazing hotel with very kind staff. We were treated like royalty the moment we pulled up in our car. The whole arrival and checkin process was very efficient, and the we were offered drinks and snacks in the lounge. The buffet had a good variety of high quality food. The Onsens were very nice and well maintained. The room was very basic and quite dated (probably hasn’t changed much since the 90 s) but this didn’t bother us as they focus on service and quality overall. We really only slept in the room and spent the rest of the time exploring the area. Overall great stay and we’d definitely come back."

"This is our second stay at this hotel. It has fantastic onsens, great Japanese buffet, and the rooms are large and comfortable. Kinu-Tateiwa Otsuribashi, a famous suspension bridge, is right behind the hotel that leads to great sceneries. Hotel is approximately 12 min walk to Kinugawaonsen Station, and offers shuttle bus in the morning to the station by request. Next time we visit Nikko, we definitely go to this hotel again! "
