"This was our first time visiting St. Croix and we can’t wait to come back! The staff at The Buccaneer were all amazing. We felt very welcome and cared for during our entire stay. You pretty much have everything you need on the resort, but we had a great time exploring other parts of the island. We were able to arrange taxis directly thru the hotel to get us to dinners and excursions. So glad we chose The Buccaneer for our vacation!"

"Here's the deal with the Carambola in the opinion from someone who has been coming there for over a decade. It was once a stunning eco resort covered with tropical plants and beautiful 'bungalows' nestled into a secluded tropical cove. Then came the hurricanes and FEMA and lack of infrastructure support and hence all the very poor reviews over the past few years. Apparently the resort has new owners who have begun to make investments in upkeep and the place appears to be on its way back. A few...

"Enjoyed staying here. It was convenient to Christiansted, access to supermarket and staff was very friendly. Did not like the TV setup with no access to regular channels. "

"The location was great. The room was nice and clean. Our favorite part was the restaurant. We ate there every night. Food was excellent and the staff was great. One of staff members who deals with the snorkel and beach equipment was a little snooty, maybe she was having a bad day. Overall it was a great experience and a nice boutique type hotel. One of the owners was very personable. Armas at the front desk was really nice and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place. "

"We had a very quiet room. The hotel is right on the boardwalk so easy access to restaurants, shops, and bars. The hotel also offered daily housekeeping…we like coming back to a neat room. The restaurant has a nice view of the marina, and our meals were good. The staff were all friendly and helpful. "
