"We had a great stay at the house! Obaa-san was very nice and humble, she was very helpful to help us call the taxis to pick us up. The house is located 10-15 minutes walk from Hiezansakamoto station and the best part is, it is just a few steps away from Lake Biwa! You could see sunrise if the weather is great! "I’ve been to many capsules across Japan and my stay here was at the too. Yes, I’ve stayed in Kyoto, Osaka, but wanted to spend a few days in Ōtsu and experience a slower pace and so glad I did! The reviews on Google and Orbitz rated The Calendar high so I gave it a try and I was not disappointed.
