"Recently refurbished and what a great hotel. Fantastic facilities and great pools. Free breakfast with everything you can think of available. Very friendly staff and 3 restaurants on site. Alcohol and soft drink prices were also very reasonably priced. Let’s to do with entertainment during the day and evening. Will come back later this year."

"I really liked this place, despite some eccentricities. Estrella del Norte is run by a few generations of a Canarian family, and feels like a family-run establishment. The building is somewhat dated, but boasts fantastic views both ways, of the sea and nearby Teide volcano. They keep it spotlessly clean, and are very welcoming. "Lovely place, however there were many issues dealing with the front desk staff. They were lacking in knowledge of the property and handling the needs of the guests. Our room Wifi issues were met with excuses and "just go to the lounge". They said we could book the a la carte restaurant as part of our package, but it had been closed for some time.
