"Easy transit area with Island Link Bus drop at hotel and local bus stops on street; 30 minute walk to downtown. This is a well worn hotel but clean. Bed was very comfortable, good shower, rooms are spacious with coffee maker, fridge and microwave, carpet is old. I am an older female solo traveler and I felt hotel was safe. Neighborhood is around car dealerships and a large car wash. Dennys is linked to the hotel for food option. I walk everywhere and always feel need to be aware of surroundings....

"We stayed at the Arbutus Inn recently and due to some of the reviews we had read about bugs etc., we were a bit skeptical but it turned out to be a very pleasant experience and no bugs anywhere. We chose the ground floor and found our room quite spacious, very clean and everything was in working order. The front desk staff were very friendly and gave us the supplies when asked , without any hesitation. Having free parking and a car rental company next to checkin was an added bonus. On the whole...
