"The location of the hotel is within walking distance of most places of interest so it's very handy. The room I booked was basic but I was out most of the time anyway so I didn't need too many things. The fridge was spacious enough to store some food and drinks. The hosts, Antonio and Helene, were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. I used the shuttle service both ways which was excellent. "The best part of this hotel is the property. The private beach, the pool and views. The breakfast that is included is excellent and the restaurant is refined. The hotel and furnishings are a bit dated but the hotel is clean and well maintained. Only thing that’s a negative is that you really can’t walk to anything. You need to drive or take a shuttle to go anywhere."

"Nice location about 15-20 min drive from Syracuse town. Had some issue with a waiter serving the wrong items, but the hotel was kind enough to give us that for free, plus a nice bottle of wine that we had selected. Big pool area for both our hotel (the 4 star one, that Hotels.com have not updated yet) and the 5 star one. Great breakfast as well. Just miss the porridge which is more non existent all over Italy. "
