"Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday."

Lots of outdoor and indoor space well designed clean bright and airy. The host was very easy to work with and the whole process was seamless. "

It’s bigger than it looks. It was about a 15 min drive to Syracuse and Ortigia that offers many restaurants and places to see. I would fully recommend this villa / host. "

"Vielen Dank an unsere sehr nette Vermieterin Milena! Das großzügige Haus ist super gelegen (Bäcker und kl. Supermarkt in 5 gut Minuten fußläufig), hervorragend ausgestattet (genügend Decken, Küchenutensilien, gutes WLAN, abgeschlossener Parkplatz, überdachte Terrasse, ...) und war für uns als Kletterer ein guter Ausgangspunkt für die gesamte Ost-Küste. Insgesamt machen Haus und Garten einen gepflegten und liebevoll gestalteten Eindruck. Zum Empfang standen Keks und Wasser für uns bereit....

"The house is spacious and comfortable, situated in a quiet but convenient area. Avola is 5 minutes away, the motorway linking Messina, Catania, Siracusa and Gela is also a few minutes drive from the house.A car is essential. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. If we had a problem they responded immediately. As for this area of Sicily there is lots to do. Beach lovers are well catered for and there are plenty of possibilities for hikers. The beautiful towns of Siracusa, Noto, Ragusa and...

"The owners are nice and welcoming and the pool is very nice. They use their son and/or Google translate for interacting with non-Italian speakers. The place is generally quiet expect after sunset when people play paddle ball in the adjacent courts. There are three ACs, one in each bedroom. There is an additional room that functions as kitchen, dinning room, and general seating area, and which has no AC. The biggest issue for us, and the one that made us leave the property two days before the...
