"Great hotel generally, and this was our second stay. Service was generally good and the staff work hard. The only exception was when we ate at the hotel in the evening. Limited options for families/children and waiting staff stuck us in the opposite corner of the restaurant and made clear their displeasure at our attendance close to closing time. "

"The breakfast buffet was very good and we enjoyed fresh melons and other fruit, bacon, eggs, good cappuccino and more. The owners are very friendly. Our double room was fine but slightly dated. The ping pong table was unfortunately located in the garage area that had large mosquitoes in it."

Overall a wonderful stay with such beautiful views. Short walk to the town which is excellent and has fantastic shops and restaurants. Nightlife is amazing their to. "This hotel had an amazing atmosphere and a great location to old town. The hotel itself is magnificent with a lot of options and beautiful location. The only downfall we encountered was the room was too hot when we asked to lower the temperature they unlocked it, but the room was still so hot that we could not sleep. "Great stay at Acquaviva. We got a nice room with lake view and Balcony. Staff was courteous and nice. Breakfast had a lot of options. Hotel is a 45 mins walk to downtown Desenzano (lake front walk with a great view) and 1:30 walk to Sirmione. We absolutely adored the tratoria del pescatore that is a few blocks away. Spa was great too, the only down thing is that there is no spa tub like advised and they force you to wear a swim cap"
