"We recently spent 2 nights at La Reserva Virgin Lodge and there were some good things and not so great things about the lodge. Pros - Great staff; helpful and friendly - Decent food in the restaurant and priced reasonably given this was a 'resort' - Lovely jungle location - Spacious room Cons - I know this is the jungle and a tropical rainforest, but still our room smelled full of mildew and damp. "Great hotel - private access to the park is priceless. Lovely facilities, reasonably priced meals at restaurants and lovely staff. Would only recommend for 1-2 nights given the isolated location. "
