"Montebello is a charming property - when you are there you know you're somewhere special and with history. However, I'm not sure it's quite living up to the Fairmont name and $$. Service was terrific (especially the gentleman who checked us in!) and our dinner in the main restaurant was outstanding. However, some parts of the property are in dire need of an update, most notably the fitness center and spa change rooms. "

"Overall a good stay, unfortunately, we had 2 doors to the rooms next to us. We could hear so clearly the discussions in the next rooms, one of them came back from a dance party and talked till 1 am, the other where more like us and needed to wake up around 6 am. So not really good nights of sleep. Staff at the restaurant and cleaning staff really nice. Staff at the reception where a bit less accommodating, we stayed there for an event where we had to stay a a booth, the Dealer's room closed at...

"Nice, modern room that was very clean and the eco lodge was quiet. Only complaints that the curtains could be thicker to block out more light, and the plugs near the bed didn’t work to charge a phone. The hot tub was lovely and staff were very nice. I’d stay here again. "
