"Another lovely stay at Slaley Hall. I always feel relaxed when I stay and love a walk around the grounds. The room was big and comfortable although parts were showing their age, like the door into the bathroom and wooden wardrobes, however, this really did not detract from a lovely night away. Will be going back soon. "

"Everything was very good for our stay.The only downside was the food wasn’t brilliant and quite costly.Breakfast was adequate but mainly Luke warm and eggs like bullets.Good supply of the cold side of breakfast.We loved our stay,our room was perfect.The staff were so helpful and always busy.Would stay again. "Lovely secluded hotel, beautiful building in absolutely gorgeous scenery. Food was delicious both in hotel restaurant for breakfast and afternoon tea and also in Linden Tree pub for evening meal. Bedroom was spacious and had all that was needed, comfy bed, good sized bathroom with a decent pressure shower over the bath. The spa was well worth the money too."

"My partner and I came to visit Alnwick for her birthday, and after a previous stay at a Premier Inn, we decided we wanted something with more character. The Hog’s Head Inn is a really lovely hotel, and considering it broke ground in 2011, has a feeling of being built in the 1800s, with the wood and stone decor in the main bar area. Rooms were a really good size, and very clean. Great water pressure from the shower (which is a big plus for us!) and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would happily recommend the Hog’s Head Inn to anyone staying in Alnwick, and my partner and I are very much considering visiting other Inn Group hotels in the future.
