"Enjoyed our stay! The staff was friendly and it was very clean ! Very pleased with our meal for our Anniversary dinner at the restaurant in the hotel!! Wish we had time to stay a couple of nights!!"

"Great hotel, location, views, service. Only downside was breakfast. Horrible prices for crappy quality, embarrassing for a Marriott. Eggs Benedict almost $20 for flavourless hollidaise sauce on soggy English muffin, gross. Supper was decent but again not for the high prices."

"It is a great property to stay in. This property is up hill from downtown. Needs a better storage room or facilities for the guests."

The house is a duplex style home with a large yard. Owners live in other house.

"Very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Hosts are lovely people, very friendly and helpful. Great location in upper Avalon, very close to St John's but a lovely rural setting. If you love birds you gotta stay here."
