"The place is out of this world. What you see in the website is what you get on arrival. It is the best place I have ever been to. "The location of the hotel is good. The stairs down the the rooms is built for somebody with long legs and the ramp - not sure if that is for a wheel chair which I will never use. The restaurant is very over priced and its really not great food. The food at Mrs Simpson is WAY better. The fire place, having a vent right on top, the room was always smelling of smoke. Rooms do all need a little TLC. Staff is very friendly and helpful."

"The riverfront location was stunning and teeming with wildlife. We saw hippos, elephants, baboons and even lions right in the camp, and every meal was delightful under the shade of the big tree. Our lodging felt palatial, with our own plunge pool, outdoor deck and cabana, unlimited bar fridge, and total privacy. "Picked imbali as a good place for a short 3 day safari. Food portions were large and of good quality . There are some areas where the wood at the lodge and around the property need some replacement but overall didn’t detract from a lovely setting . Watering hole for elephants is directly opposite the restaurant area so good for breakfast and lunch . Safari drives were good and Jayden did a great job for us . Would have been nice to have a transfer from local airport Skukuza included in the cost...
