"We had a good stay at the place. The owner himself took us to the place we wanted to go to. The service was really good. But the location is a bit hard to find. Other than that it is a nice hotel with clean rooms and good service."

"Beautiful colonial plantation in quite remote location. Wonderful views, breakfast on the veranda watched by leaping monkeys. Food good quality, very pleasant service. Nice swimming pool with amazing views. Very large attractive rooms. Comfy bed. We would recommend."

"Hotel staff was extremely friendly and they took hospitality to the next level. One day they threw a seafood BBQ for us by the beach, the other day they made a fire pit directly on the beach. The hotel is clean and great for such a price. We had the whole beach for us. The only downside was that the area was not touristic and not much to do, we went to bentota for some fun and came back."

If you're staying over Christmas/New Year, the extra effort with decorations and evening schedules is really lovely - the best I've experienced.
