"The staff there were amazing. Extremely friendly and always there for information. Sadly though the place itself isn't well maintained. If they are able to get to get on top of this now they can really turn this around. Swimming pool: the tiles around the edge and the gutter needs to be cleaned daily. "Nice hotel in the heart of Hikkaduwa. Good buffet breakfast. Plenty of restaurants near by if you want a change from hotel food. Like most hotels in this area it is right on the very busy main road. Traffic at night is very noisy, worth paying for a sea view room if you can."

"We arrived early and got an early check-in which was great, but the manager saus that we would stay one night at a smaller room without the seaview we had paid for. Ok. We agreed on that we would pay when we left. Also Ok. But later that they they Asker us to pay up front, which we did. The next day they Us that we needed to stay one more night at that room. Not Ok, but we did. Next day we got our room but that needed upgrades and the cleaning we had to ask for. Not too happy with this stay, and...

"Good: The beach. The pool. The variety of dining options. The hotel though in several areas like the rooms, lifts etc could be cleaner / better maintained. The AC struggled to lower the room temp below 24C. The light in the cupboard where the safe is located would not switch off. Flushing the toilet resulted in it running for over 5 minutes. The grout on the shower enclosures could do with the occasional clean with bleach…. Not what I expected of a hotel with such high daily charges."
