"We stayed here for 4 nights in August. Our cabin was great, compact but not cramped. The kitchen had everything we needed, a 2-ring hob which heated up quickly, plenty of utensils, cutlery and crockery for 2 people. The place was clean and the area was quiet. Our cabin was located on the edge of the compound so the wifi signal was quite poor, and the room had no air-con so it was very sticky at night making it difficult to sleep at times, but there was a fan which we kept on at night. "A brilliant construction and location in the stunning gorge location. Lovely room and large patio to enjoy breakfast alongside the roaring river. Parking was manageable at the roadside, and the lift ideal between floors. The owner and waitress were charming and informative, but we were both startled and disappointed at the continuing grumbles from the receptionist, especially when asked about messages that my daughter had sent there."

"Great view & location. A couple of extra features would have taken it from 4 to a 5. No glasses ( just small paper cups) no coffee making facilities or a fridge. Otherwise all good."

"C'est la 3ème année consécutive où nous venons nous ressourcer à la Palma lors d'un petit tour de Corse. L'hôtel est toujours aussi propre (mesures covid respectées, c'est très rare et apprécié) et les gérants toujours aussi sympathiques. "We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Pietracap. The breakfast had a good range of options and the dinners were delicious. The hotel was in an easy location for a quick drive into Bastia. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the ocean view from the room was stunning. We also loved the water fountain in the lobby for our water bottles. It was so convenient. The only things we didn't enjoy were the overly firm mattress and STRONG room perfume."

We arrived for check-in at 16.30 to be told curtly that we had to check-in before 15.00 or after 18.00 because they were closed between these times - yes, like we should have known this because such information is on the website (no it isn't)! - but he then checked us in because he was there and then kindly explained local walks and sites and was very friendly.
