"Ideally situated if you want the best of both worlds. Peaceful hillside setting with beautiful views- A short seven minute drive down a bendy road to Erbalunga with it's restaurants and bars. Bear in mind that Erbalunga is a quiet seaside village/town- nightlife is restricted to restaurants. A fifteen minute drive up the coast will bring you to a marvelous, sandy beach with a low-key beach bar/restaurant. from the house, there is a great view of the isle of Elba."

"A lovely contemporary villa for four with a shared pool overlooking the port of Bastia . Spent a week exploring this beautiful mountainous region with visits to St Florent and Cap Corse . Found a local sandy beach great for swimming and sunbathing. Visitors need to be aware of the steep climb to the villa itself and driving over the mountain routes which offer fantastic views. "The location and the villa are just amazing. Very clean, big enough so that you can have your "you time". Our Dog also loved it very much, she was free to roam around. Madame Monique is a super host (thanks for the nice gesture). Hope to come back next year."

"We had a great stay at this villa in Marine St. Ambrogio with two small kids and a baby. Even though there is AC only upstairs, the sea breeze was lovely and cooling in the downstairs. The security fence around the pool gave us peace of mind with our 3 year old running around, and we and older kid enjoyed the short walk down to the waterside to play in the tidepools and snorkel. The pool is shared with the neighbors who are very nice. Alexandra the on-site hostess was very kind and helpful....

"We had a fabulous week in the house - great location with ideal proximity to quiet beach and wonderful views. House equipped with everything you could need and extremely comfortable. We particularly appreciated the contact and warm welcome offered by Sophie who generously accommodated our arrival/departure times. Would definitely be keen to return in the future. Only suggestion for improvement would be if the damage deposit could be arranged through VRBO rather than as cash deposit but otherwise...

"Our group of 10 stayed in the owner's other house in Corbara, which is quite nearby. The area is breathtaking, it was one of our favorite spots on the island. The Corbara house was wonderful, newly built and very comfortable. The bedrooms were a good size with new beds. The kitchen was a bit small for cooking for 10 and it had a low range hood that everyone bumped their heads into at least once. We had issues with the BBQ in the back and only used it once. The caretaker and owner took good care...

"Catherine has done a great job of putting together a very comfortable place to stay while in the north of Corsica. This is a beautiful and newly built and furnished duplex with its own pool and great privacy. Just a 10-minute drive up the hill from Calvi and close to many nice beaches (and vineyards) nearby.
