"Advertised as a hotel (not Pontins) with an address that didn't match the booking one and lacking many of the basics you'd have in in anything resembling a hotel. One of the worst properties I've stayed in over 4 decades. A generally stand off ish and hostile undertone from the staffing on arrival, several serious defects and no warning about the bedding or towel shortfalls (unless you are one of their loyal customers who tolerate more than they should be expected to). Play areas and dinosaur...

"Hotels.com didn't state on the website just how LGBT+ this hotel is. Not a problem, but some indication would have been nice... Room was incredibly small. I own a caravan & that is substantially bigger than the room we were given, Window was a single glazed sash window. Unfortunately, there was a massive storm on the weekend we stayed & the amount of wind going through gaps in the window frame was incredible. Ended up stuffing the gaps up with toilet paper, but the wind noise was still...

"We have just had a two night stay at The View Hotel. Its location was fantastic for us as we were going to 2 gigs a few minutes walk away. Easy to park the car out the front in the bays (a few pounds a day). Our room was lovely, upgraded to king size and part sea view. Breakfast to die for..everything you could possibly want. It wasn’t a problem for us as we were out till late…but it’s Christmas party season and on both nights parties were banging till midnight …so no early night folks as the room was vibrating….everything thing else…perfect x"
