"Our stay was in mid-March and the hotel was very quiet at that time. Our room on the ground floor was very convenient for the hotel pool which had a hot tub and sauna. The pool water was a bit too cold but the hot tub and sauna were very good. There are walking trails and a small lake nearby which is great for birdwatching. Also views of a ruined castle within walking distance. Restaurant food was nicely presented."

The table d”hote is all that was on offer - 2 course for £34, that would be fine if the food matched the price tag. Seem to be using poor quality ingredients - I had a badly cooked bit of Hancock with some poor quality frozen peas (the hand cut fries were good) - I left half of it which should maybe have indicated there was an issue - I suspect the staff are...
