"The property is nice looking. But it’s more about the looks than the value with this resort. The decor leads you to believe you are in a 5 star hotel, but the air con in the room is tiny, the room was never cold. The all inclusive buffet has lots of options however the taste is lacking. This hotel services primarily an Italian population however all Italian dishes were average at best. Staff moves super slow. I spent my birthday at the resort and booked a private beach side dinner. The pasta I got was super hard to chew (it was not al dente, I have eaten myway through Italy), I ordered a chocolate cake and Malagasy birthday song. I got a vanilla cake with English singing. I was disappointed. The beach is super nice, they have security guarding the salespeople off. "

"I stayed three weeks at the Villa Ochidees. The staff is very professional and friendly. They are really trying to run a great place. The location is elevated from the touristy street and beach. This means there is a ~3min walk up an unpaved road (this first time you do this it feels unsafe, but it’s totally safe) but in return you get the most amazing panoramic view from your own terrace and from the common spaces. Gorgeous sunsets every day. Its has all modern conveniences (AC, room safe, mini fridge). They don’t price gouge on on-site services like food and laundry. The food is on par with the better restaurants in town. Both Chris and Clairmont speak English especially well and can help you with arranging excursions etc. It’s an excellent boutique hotel. The WiFi can be unstable sometimes but that’s the case for all of Nosy Be. Overall it’s a really special place."

"Staff were amazing, really hospitable. Nothing too much trouble! Marcello ( Resort Manager) went above and beyond. Always about. Very personable. Gave his personal number when we got stuck in Antananarivo, calming and supportive. Highly recommend the Excursion team. Despite language barrier, they really tried to make sure we got what we wanted."

"Had a great stay at the Cambria! The staff were very friendly and eager to help. The room was comfortable with AC and had a nice bed. Only thing that caught me off guard was the shower, I had to fill up a big bucket in the bathroom and scoop water out with a cup to wash yourself. No big deal for me but I didn’t know that before getting to the hotel. Overall a great stay and would come back!"
