The staff were all fantastic and we really appreciated the reception staff giving us plates/cutlery/condiments for food in our room. "Excellent check in, oiur room was available early which was handy as we had a wedding to attend locally so could drop off our luggage. Staff in the bar were friendly and attentive, room was nice, modern and clean and breakfast service was good."

"We had a long weekend stay in Thorpe view cottage. The cottage is well furnished, clean and cosy. The garden is well maintained with exceptional views. The pool is a great feature, was used every day. Ray and Julie are warm and welcoming hosts. Good location, ideal for walker's and cyclists. We had a hearty meal on two occasions at the Old dog pub, served by friendly landlord and staff.All in all we had agreat stay,will certainly return."
