"Room was large and comfortable. Only drawback was the number of flights of stairs necessary to get to it. Hotel was very convenient to get to the Mall and it was on a road that transport could drive up to the front door which is often not the case with other hotels in Darjeeling."

"Overall good. However, it could have been better if following things were looked at the owner. 1. Room door does not shut automatically 2. Bathroom door does not shut 3. Space in the room where the safe deposit box is situated needs attention. The door of this space does not shut and therefore, light does not switch off, not good especially when one tries to sleep at night. 4. "Its a heritage property in a very nice area of Darj. However, the property is poorly maintained and it has musty smell in the rooms. Also the plumbing and maintenance is wanting in the rooms. "

Fantastic hotel with Kanchenjunga view rooms

"Fantastic hotel in Gandhi Road. Close to Darjeeling mall, great rooms and wonderful service from the staff. The breakfast has a lot of options and all the food items are very well made. The Kanchenjunga view rooms don't let you down either. Overall, 10/10 and must recommend. "

"Service, location, friendly accommodating staff made us feel like home. Kanchanjungha views from hotel view point.. outside some rooms, dining hall, outside reception.. everywhere. Gave some suggestions and feed back to the general manager who was very appreciative of the constructive feed back. Passion of the staff to serve customers is unparalleled and trickles down from the leadership of Debarya, who seems to talk about the resort like it's his baby. Doma in dining room, authentic Nepalese cells roti made fresh was cherry on top. Will be back. "
