"We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in the treehouse. The staff were really helpful and very friendly. The room was as clean as it could be for a treehouse in the jungle and we enjoyed listening to the various sounds of the wildlife. We would recommend going Loris Trekking. We did manage to spot a couple of Loris’ and were amazed at how the trekker could spot them. If you would struggle with bugs and geckos everywhere, then this accommodation is not for you as there were lots of them and we did get thoroughly chomped on by the mozzies so take a good spray! Meals were not included in our stay but we had one evening meal and it was good. The facilities are basic (it’s the jungle) but the shower was hot. Overall, this was an accommodation like no other we have ever stayed in and we would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a jungle experience. We heard you may get visited by local monkeys too, but they didn’t find us this time :-)"

"Lovely peaceful hotel with amazing cabins. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Pool and bar area was lovely and clean - hard working pool guy there. Breakfast was great buffet style. We went out to dinner to nights we were here but there is a restaurant. 10-15 mins walk from Lions Rock entrance so great location. "

"My friend and I spent a night here and we got to meet the owner, who lives in London. We were treated very well and the staff was very accommodating and took great care of us. The room was comfortable as well. It is located in a very remote area, but there are some restaurants within walking distance and it is very close to Sigiriya Rock. "

"Our stay at Sigiriya Rock Hide was amazing! Beautiful quiet location with a view of Sigiriya rock from the top level restaurant. The food was delicious and very generous, especially the breakfast. The rooms were comfortable with A/C and hot water (just took some time to warm up but was very nice). The pool was very nice amongst a lush garden and was very clean and the perfect temperature. The staff were so incredibly friendly and hospitable. One evening, it was one of their staff member’s birthday and they invited us to have cake with them which was very sweet and kind. They also helped organise a taxi for us to our next stop in Badulla. I highly recommend staying here!! "

"We loved staying at this hotel and found the setting and scenery very beautiful. the hotel consists of little bungalows inside the forest, right next to the lake. I would like to see more information about the hotel services to be more readily available in the rooms and public areas (ie spa & other facilities). the pool should be renovated and enlarged. Also the hotel should provide some paddle boats and kayaks for rent so that people can enjoy the beautiful lake."
