"Standard holiday inn at the airport. You r paying a lot for the convenience. But most of us have no choice if arriving late or leaving early. The hotel has seen better days as it has been heavily used. Great staff though "

"We spent 2 nights pre-cruise here at Solace Hotel. We arrived very early morning after an overnight plane trip and was given the option to pay a discounted rate to have access to our room and the breakfast buffet. This really helped us recharge after a meal and a short nap to enable us to take advantage of the first day in the great city. The room is well equipped with bottled water replenished daily in the refridgerator and the bed was very comfortable. The elevator worked well, getting us quickly to our 8th floor room. The only problem with the room was the shower floor was quite slippery so we ended up putting a towel inside the shower pan to prevent any slipping injuries. We loved this very modern hotel, especially the roof-top bar. It is on a quiet street that was walkable to the Cerro San Cristobal. All the front desk personnel were wonderful with great suggestions. The breakfast buffet was very good and tables were fairly plentiful and cleaned quickly. The even offered to make me one of the best Eggs Benedicts I have ever had! If we ever have to chance to be in Santiago again, we will definitely stay at Solace Hotel! "
