The sounds of nature are everywhere and there’s and easy path to wander to the edge of the property if you want to take a stroll. It was also beautifully furnished and we loved hearing about the family history. "The staff was helpful but seemed mechanical and condescending. Breakfast is wonderful with many options. The bed was clean but had fist-sized lumps. I was informed by the director that the lumps were special for comfort and that all beds have this special mattresses. I was told to turn off the air conditioning when not in the room. This is unexpected in a highly-rated four star hotel. The staff seems to believe that guests are fortunate to stay."
