"Beautiful location and stunning building, only ourselves and the owners there on our two night stay. Lovely staff. Friendly owners. Unfortunately the room was pretty tired and bathroom needed a good overall. Old marked shower enclosure. Crumbling walls round the shower unit. Shower coming away from wall and mould round taps. "After spending time trying to find a reasonably priced hotel we found this little gem. Some reviews were negative some positive. We were stopping over for a couple of days so just needed what it said on the tin!! The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room basic, but very clean and air conditioned. Free soft drinks and water were added each morning, fresh towels and room cleaned even on a 2 night stay. Nice relaxing area and court yard for breakfast, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee...

"We actually walked to the property from the Catania bus station. This location is near bars, sex shop etc. I would it was unsafe but it also didn't feel very safe either because all the bars it's surrounded by. Outside of the property/street isn't super clean but it's Catania and most of the street were dirty. Inside the hotel was clean and super beautiful. The staff was super nice and helpful. Our AC seems to not work correctly.. so we got super hot at night..we stayed only one night so we just...
