"We were traveling through Sicily and decided to stay at the Valle Galfina for only one night while exploring the Mt Etna area. It was tricky to locate the property due to limited signage but things began well with a welcome and glass of wine. However, we seemed to be the only people staying and the owner disappeared for the remainder of the day. Doors were locked and we had to figure out neither the restaurant or bar were open. "We loved this place. The owner spoke little english and us no Italian, but between us he was able to proudly tell us of his home produce wine and farm.
