"We were traveling through Sicily and decided to stay at the Valle Galfina for only one night while exploring the Mt Etna area. It was tricky to locate the property due to limited signage but things began well with a welcome and glass of wine. However, we seemed to be the only people staying and the owner disappeared for the remainder of the day. Doors were locked and we had to figure out neither the restaurant or bar were open. At about 9pm the owner knocked on the room door to ask for...

"Clean and well-run with a good value restaurant. Breakfast was good, though the choice was quite limited. The pop-up wastes in the bathroom were defective and wasted water. "

"Loved this place. Funky art-filled restored palazzo. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious generous breakfast. Location is just off a pretty plaza, easy walking distance to the sights and restaurants. Wish we had more days here. "
