"The management at this hotel was honestly not impressive at all. Starting with the negatives - we were in the hotel for a total of about 6 hours excluding sleeping time and had to still pay €15 for WiFi PER DEVICE! We specifically asked the reception staff multiple times whether it would reach our room, gave them our room number to check (a superior sea view room) and they assured us it would reach, but of course it didn’t reach our room! We then asked for our money back as we could not use it...

"What an amazing place. Perfectly located in the center of Mindelo, we could not have hoped for a better location. Staying at this hotel made us feel like we had stepped back in time to Southern Europe in the early 1970s, maybe with the exception of the internet connection, which was quite good in our room. We took the larger family room on the 4th floor, which was a considerable walk up, but definitely worth it because of the amazing views of the ocean, harbor, and street action below from...

Edil was heel behulpzaam. dit apartement is zeker een aanrader en wij zouden er de volgende keer weer willen verblijven. "Hard to review stay as I was suffering from after effects (but clear) of recent Novo contracted in UK as lost 8-9 lbs. So did not due what I expected to do & 1/2 way thru stay started to pick up. Room, staff breakfast very good. Had nice trip to Santa Maria they provide for free. Pool fine but used less than expected as not up to it. Snorkelled in small bay up from reception. Good first 2 days last day churned up so visibility issues. Very nice walks N & S of resort on or near beach which I could not exploit as much as wished. Nice meals in afternoon N of reception. Good Super Mercardo on site S of reception"
