"Cute charming adorable motel with lots of effort by very friendly staffs/owner. Lounge area with snacks was awesome. Wish there’s a light over dining table in our room, but we managed by moving the table under light next to bed. Bathroom was little outdated but very clean. Overall, very cozy and comfortable. "

"This is a dog friendly place so a good place for family trip with a dog. Easy to access from parking to a room using a door facing to parking so we can load and unload staffs. Having a nice restaurant for dinner but need to make a reservation in advance. Foods are good and not overpriced."

"Fantastic! We plan to return in the next two months! My fiance and I stayed here for snow and ski at Stratton. We LOVED the 1960’s-1970’s style of the rooms but everything was so clean well kept we felt right at home and comfortable (unlike staying at larger chain hotels where you feel you need to check for bed bugs no matter what -not here!) "My only complaint (which minor) is that the breakfast was kind of poor - I know staff is hard but it seemed like the front desk person was responsible for keeping the breakfast stocked (and she was having problems). But the facility itself was fine and we had no complaints for a good nights sleep and shower in the morning. The staff was helpful and friendly."

"We enjoyed the large rooms, comfortable beds, ease of parking compared to other properties in the area, and the deck off the back of the room. There are no amenities (food, shampoo, conditioner) but this hotel is a very good value for the price and I'd highly recommend it to travelers on a budget."

"Such a lovely place. Upon arrival, Lee gave us a warm welcome and took us to our beautiful,spacious room. The entire staff was wonderful. Delicious breakfast each morning, which we chose to have delivered to our room. Delivered on time, in a large picnic basket. Such a great idea!!!. Dinner in the beautifully decorated dining room Christmas Eve was superb. The Reluctant Panther does not disappoint. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend! "
