"Our room, a junior suite was quite large and surgically clean. Bathroom was very modern, large and with great water pressure. Staff was great. My only caution would be to comment that this is not an air-conditioned hotel in the usual sense. There is a system which can be set to lower the temperature in the room slightly, but we found it ineffective. If you're not comfortable sleeping in a warm room, this hotel might best be considered only in the cooler months. "

"The only negative was that other guest’s dog lefy 2 piles of geces in the corridet. Someone tried to remove it but left 2 significant feces smears on the carpet. We immediately notified front desk receptionist. Then next morning we told the housekeeper who was aware. The smears remained for our entire visit until our last morning when we submitted complaints to reception director again, it was finally cleaned at the time of our departure. "It was very close to the train station, which was convenient but The parts of the city that you would want to spend time in were about a15 minute walk away. There is excellent public transportation very conveniently located but we did not use it. "

"Excellent hotel. Check in was unexpectedly helpful and friendly. Room was large and comfortable and clean. Breakfast is expensive but there are no options close to the hotel. Hotel is next to the #50 bus stop which goes directly to the airport and to the train station in Basel. Have fun!"
