"Service was excellent and l was very well looked after. I was given free pickup to and from the train station. Breakfast was good too even though l was the only person having breakfast that day. Room was basic but comfortable. It's a pity the location was a little far from niseko village and there is no way of getting there in the summer. Hiking there would take close to an hour and it's mostly uphill. The only place to eat is milk kobo which is a 5 min walk. Would be a good place to stay during...

The one area that was a little bit more challenging was the fact that it’s an older building and you have to expect some idiosyncrasies but was well maintained. "As with many places in this part of Niseko, it’s getting dated. They have done some upkeep inside at least. All the investment is over in Hirafu and Hanazono. That said, this side of town still has a lot of charm. The good backcountry skiing is over here too. I enjoyed the onsen. The food was also good, but started to get repetitive after day 2. I stayed 4 nights and wouldn’t have wanted to do another meal per se. There are limited dining options on this side of town,but the isakaya down...

"Really fantastic stay. The location is great, right down from the main grand hirafu gondola and the hotel offers free drop off in the morning too. We rented from Grand hirafu annex which included storage but the hotel has ski storage too. There’s a separate men’s and women’s hot tub that’s real nice. Oh and a vending machine with beer and cocktails. The staff is super nice and helpful, overall great trip!"
