"Overall our stay was good. As with most hotels, unless their wet rooms, for disabled visitors, are newly installed, we found the grab rails are quite dirty and dusty. We have stayed in this room before where I mentioned a trip hazard in the room where there is a bulge in the carpet. Quite important when someone is disabled, sadly it’s still the same ☹️ but, you could not fault the staff, very kind and attentive. "

Great Bar food was hot, tasty and a good helping. (I liked that I could eat proper food, early, in the bar area (not just sandwiches). Breakfast was comprehensive, with fresh fruit, yoghurt and pastries, but also a full range of hot items. (including black pudding). "

"This is a really beautiful place to stay, the room was lovely and very comfy. It was nice to stay somewhere a bit different and felt very special. On the way to our room the corridor/stair well did have a few cobwebs with dead flies in, but I did laugh as it was in theme with it being an old quirky place! It didn’t put me off staying, and the room and bathroom were both very clean. The breakfast was amazing, though the staff do clear up quick, and take your cutlery! Therefore if you want seconds...
