"We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Tanya, the owner, greeted us on arrival, she gave us a lot of information about the cabin and surrounding area. Especially where to see bears which was the main reason we came to Vancouver Island. She was spot on, we saw bears almost every day! The cabin and setting were lovely, we would definitely come again. "This cabin is exactly what we were looking for for our relaxing weekend away from the city before the busy school year started. The cabin was immaculate and comfortable and we had amazing views of whales and the Northern lights. it was perfect for some low key family time."

"The little house was super cute and cozy. The upstairs bedroom had a lower ceiling than I thought (yea I know small house lols) nice and quiet and just fun to be in."

"My only suggestion would be to have a map of some kind to show where the garbage was located. It was a bit difficult to find when we were leaving. Enjoyed our stay. "

"Hosts were welcoming and clear with their communication regarding check in and other amenities. Dwellings were well made and suited our needs. The locals of the island were so sweet and helpful as well. The island has many beautiful places to explore including walks and hikes. So glad we went on the “off season” as we were able to do our exploring with little or no crowds. Worth all the extra ferry rides as be able to travel off the beaten trail."

"Lovely, clean property in a very quiet spot. We did find the bed in the extra bedroom quite uncomfortable but otherwise our stay was great. I would recommend checking Google maps (especially if arriving after dark) as there’s no lights or signage, and having an idea where the unit is beforehand will help. "

"This was our fifth year in a row using VRBO for a family vacation with our grown children, their partners, and our granddaughter. We were very excited to return to Vancouver Island to explore all the gorgeous beaches and parks. We picked this location as it was close to all the places we wanted to go.
