"This was my favorite place in Costa Rica. The staff went above and beyond and were so friendly! The cabin we were in had a pond/lake in front and streams behind. There were hikes right beside our cabin. The food was delicious! If they have their homemade pineapple jam when you are there make sure to have it. "

"This place is a hidden gem! The rustic cabins are well maintained and clean. A short walk from the cabin and you arrive at the restaurant where the food is amazing and reasonably priced. The hosts were so nice and helpful, making suggestions for our hikes and other options for dinner (although we ate on site 4 times it was so good). Our kids miss Lucky and Domino and wanted to take the puppies home :-) I would definitely recommend!"

"Just for one night it was ok. A unique property where our super basic room was in an old barn. No air conditioning but two fans. Shared bathrooms. Our host Andrea wss awesome."

"The Lodge was spectacular and the staff friendly, professional, and helpful. Within hours of arrival, they knew our names. The room was large, private, clean and very comfortable with a large deck overlooking the rainforest, a huge bathroom and our own private hot tub. We did many activities through the lodge (hiking, yoga, night walk, bird watching tour) and the guides were excellent. The food was delicious and very fresh. Each dish was beautifully plated and generous. 5 stars!"

"This was a really lovely Eco-friendly hotel. Dinner was excellent, gourmet quality. Great breakfasts. Staff was attentive and friendly. They have their own private trail on which we were able to take a night walk / wildlife tour. Highly recommended! It’s quite close by car to Bijagua where there were restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. Close to Parque Nacional Volcán Tenorio and the Rio Celeste. We also enjoyed the private trails at Helaconia Lodge where we spotted a troop of spider...

"This place was once someone's dream. You can tell they initially put a lot of work and effort into building it. However, as time has passed, this place has fallen into disrepair. The one highlight is that the room was pretty clean. "
