"Wonderful stay in this beautiful historic property. Lynn greeted us at check in and gave us the full run down of the property and set the tone for a great long weekend away. Reliable wifi and a TV with all the apps if you're looking to stay connected and plenty of opportunities to disconnect with trails starting right out the front door, a fire pit, and books and games to take advantage of. Close to so many activities in the area but far enough away to enjoy total solitude as well."

Definitely not up to par with other properties we have stayed in associated with VRBO. The outside has got to be cleaned up. Abandoned swimming pool with tall brush growing up around it and what’s up with the junked Bass boat in the back yard. If I was a neighbor I would contact local government agency to get this yard...

We parked 4 cars too. Owner was responsive to anything that came up - our wayward Amazon package - even reaching out to mail carrier for help. Very accommodating! Would certainly return when we get a chance."

"Well appointed, clearly newly updated. Bedrooms were on first and second floors which made it easier for couples, because the bathrooms were not in the bedrooms. It’s a beautiful property that I’m sure is wonderful year round. The only complaint was the garage was so cold we couldn’t utilize it."

"The house was just as advertised but the pull out beds required some adjustment for adults versus children. Was 14 of us one person opted to sleep on the couch but they were it was comfortable and not necessary to pull out into the open bed. The great number of good games and entertainment available Made it easy for the young people and seems to have fun. We all enjoyed canoeing and kayaking. "This is a beautiful small hotel in an old mansion. We were in the area for a graduation, and just overnight. We had three rooms, which were each spacious and unique. Parking on-site was great, and the hotel is an easy walk to the downtown area, with lots of great shopping and dining options. We enjoyed our short stay very much. Would highly recommend!"
