"This is a really beautiful place, very recently renovated with great style. The host is also extremely responsive and kind. The price is incredible. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because it is on a busy road, where some noise continues through the evening. But there are also big pluses to the location: it’s a charming historic town, with a pretty river within a short walk, and cafés, restaurants, and bars, all within easy walking distance."

"Stayed here to attend my grandson’s graduation from Navy boot camp. Location is convenient to the Training Center in Great Lakes. Even better it’s walking distance to downtown Libertyville, IL, which is a charming little town with some great pubs and restaurants. Apartment is clean and has the necessities. It could use a few more pots and pans for those who want to cook, but overall a good stay. "

"The property is older with very creeky floors and busy road out front but the neighborhood was pleasant, easy to access and had designated parking in back. Everything I googled: grocery, food, Starbucks, NEX, Navy Grad, was all 7 to 14 min away (O'Hare about 30 min). The only thing we couldn't find was beach access but were close to drive to a peer. "We stayed six nights. The beds are comfortable, the location is as described and parking is easy. The host was very responsive to our one request. "

"This was a good location for our son graduating from the Naval Academy. We chose this location because it had a pool. But in the fine print, we were only eligible to use the pool if we stayed for 30 days. Very misleading advertisement. Only one roll of toilet paper in each of the bathrooms for six people for four days."
