"Lovely manager - very accommodating and friendly. We stayed in a suite which was beautiful. Me and 2 bridesmaids stayed the evening before my wedding in a family room. This was large and beds were comfy - pillows could be softer. We had breakfast delivered to the room and the charge waivered which was kind. The cooked breakfast nice - but the continental food wasn’t fabulous. The service for our evening meal was slow and they got a few of our orders wrong. The pool, sauna and steam room were...

"Outstanding place. Very rustic, delicious food, great sevice and immaculate accommodation. The only downside is the noise of the traffic when you are staying in the roof rooms as there is little sound insulation. Take earplugs and you will sleep soundly!"

"This is our second stay at the Gatehouse apartment and we love it just as much as the first time. Set a short distance from the main hotel, it is really quiet, with great view of the garden and wooded area. The whole of the ground floor is ours and even with guests above us, it is sound proofed, so no noise. Lovely and clean and a really good size kitchen and dining area. We will be back."
