"An ideal family home; very cosy and well equipped. The terrace is big and the flowers are a bonus. The children (12 years old) were very happy with the sporting field behind our holiday home (basketball, football, tennis, tabletennis and jeu de boules). It can be a bit noisy because of the upstairs neighbors, but that was no problem for us. The sea at Vosseslag is very close by and De Haan is lovely. We had a good contact with the friendly owner. We enjoyed all the outside facilities (football, tennis and table tennis) but the internal facilities are basic. The check in was straight forward but you do need to call the property manager so he can let you in. He was friendly and helpful though. "Met by host, Serge, who gave us a great welcome and intro to property. Host had included some welcome treats, including a bottle of champagne and Belgian chocolates.. and Christmas decorations as we celebrated Christmas here. Fully equipped kitchen, heating and comfy beds meant a great stay. We used the cottage as a base for exploring the area and it was great- the beachfront at De Haan was beautiful and easy access to Ghent and Bruges… Great communication and check out procedure… Thanks so much...
