"The host was very helpful, the bed was comfortable, and it had easy access to public transportation. The mini fridge was stocked with sandwiches, snacks and drinks which was great. The other reviews were right about the stairs, they were steep but it wasn't an issue for us. I would stay again."

"Conveniently located within walking distance of the historic city centre. Second floor apartment within a traditional narrow canal-front townhouse. It is accessed up communal steep staircase from a main front door and is annexed to the main hotel next door. The apartment overlooks a very picturesque canal, which is the best feature together with the sizeable open plan living / dining / kitchen area. It has a comfortable double bedroom and a wet room. "My adult daughter and I recently spent 5 nights at this property. It was a lovely spot, very clean, bright, and private. It was a 20 minute walk to the train station, or a 7 minute walk to catch the bus/train. Download the "City Mapper" app to help you navigate getting around. There is a grocery store near by, and the apartment has a refrigerator, stove top, and microwave to conveniently make meals/snacks if you wish. "It was really good and in a really good ace right next to the museu.s and concert hall. The hostess is very nice. Her little pomeranian, Pommie is adorable and safe (he does bark loudly, but only when excited). There are very typical Dutch stairs to consider if you have mobility issues. The only downside was the heat, but that's not Sézane's fault."

"Beautiful room with excellent facilities. Very handy for the centre of Amsterdam and easy to get to from the airport. Trams every 4 minutes to the centre. Gerry Petra’s husband was great and told us a lot about the area and could not have been more helpful. The house is perfect to stay in in a quiet street right next to Vondelpark. We shall definitely come back and look forward to doing so very soon. An altogether wonderful experience. "

"There is a handy shuttle from airport to hotel and then if you want to go into town you can shuttle back to airport and catch the train that goes directly from airport to anywhere in town you want to go. Very handy. "

"Had a few nights in Amsterdam. Hotel was very friendly and staff were very nice. Adriano was particularly welcoming and pleasant to speak with. Only complaint would be that, our power to our room went out at 4am and needed our phones et. charged for the upcoming day. We alerted the reception desk who came to look into the problem. We were informed that they couldn’t do anything until 8am that day, which kept us up waiting. It somewhat ruined the days plans as we needed sleep so slept in later and missed a few plans we had that day. Other than that slight inconvenience we had an amazing stay and would 100% stay again."

"This was my first time at the Ruby Emma, and it definitely won't be my last. I managed to lose my phone, but the staff were very sympathetic and did everything they could to help. Thankfully, the phone was returned to the reception shortly afterwards. We quickly forgot about the incident when we arrived in our room. The location was amazing, and both my fiancée and I were seriously impressed by everything."
