"The service is outstanding! Every service man/woman was well trained and attentive to our needs including the ones in the lobby and the ones in the lounge. We arrived early in the morning and we had to wait in the lounge before we can check in to our room. They served us tea at a table with a beautiful window view. Also, our room was ready in no time. This hotel has demonstrated an outstanding customer service throughout the 4 nights of our stay. We will definitely return again. "

"Grand older hotel with lots of history! We enjoyed the grounds and gardens and walkable paths around the Hotel . Easy to reach from MRT stations using cab or the hotel shuttle . Lots of English speaking staff And lovely large updated remodeled rooms , we had a lovely stay ! We had afternoon tea in the Garden Cafe ( nice cake , little bit overpriced ) Oh and the hotel messaged me thru Expedia app to clarify my reserv also, "

"My Taiwan didn’t start off too hot. First the landing was delayed then I got into with immigration. I was staying at the hotel because of a long layover, maybe the airport should build an onsite hotel so layovers wouldn’t have to deal with immigration. After a few rude taxi drivers and airport security guards I had it with Taiwan, I wouldn’t want to come here for tourism with everyone being so rude. I got to the hotel after midnight then she was there, receptionist “Beny” she was so nice and so sweet. Her English was almost perfect. She didn’t know the struggles I went through at the airport but her nice demeanor was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Beny, I wish I could’ve met more people like you in Taiwan."
