To add a roll-away bed, the hotel wanted me to move to a bigger room for US$200 extra a day. I refused and wanted the hotel just to add a roll-away bed. The hotel charge me US$100 a day, US$200 for two days. That was most I paid for a roll away bed. I rented three rooms around Xmas and New Year times for 5-6 days. It was holiday time, I already paid US$300-400 per day all included. I paid the roll-away bed at check-in time. But at check-out time, hotel charge extra NT$1000 per room for a total of NT$3000 with no explanation what so ever. I really enjoyed my stay at the Howard. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, and I felt very good at its price point. The restaurants in the hotel and around the neighbourhood were top notch. I would visit again.

Stayed there a few times. Love the location and the service. The rooms are spacious, but slightly outdated. The VIP “beverage” voucher was pretty useless so don’t expect much on that, and sadly the bar close quite early, too.

We had a wonderful visit in Taipei staying at the Howard Plaza hotel. This place as our childhood frequented visited when our family and friends stayed which brought back good memories. This was our place whenever we visited Taipei. The hotel location is the best. The staff members are extremely friendly. The room is clean. The morning buffet is always enjoyable. We will definitely come back.

Meets all the basic requirements. Quick check in and check out. Shout out to housekeeping for their great and prompt service. I only had an issue with the aircon controls. Although there were written instructions on how to adjust the temperature, it didn’t work and when housekeeping came to show us, it was different from the written instructions. Also probably note that some rooms have windows that face the “courtyard”, i.e no outdoor view.
