"Overall good experience. The cabin could have been a little cleaner (refrigerator, dishes, showers). The a/c-heat didn't seem to work but it wasn't terribly cold and was able to make do with the fireplace. "

There ate 2 dogs on a near by property that are litter mates and play but they are trained for an invisible fence and were no worry when we walked our dog past. I wish we could have enjoyed the outside more but were were there for Thanksgiving and the weather was cold. The cabin stays toasty warm. This shouldn't even be called a cabin, it was gorgeous!ss would be wonderful in warmer months."

"Three brothers and two wives met at the Lake House for the Sand Hill Crane Festival in Birchwood. First, the festival was so interesting and fun and a must do if you like birds. Second, the cabin was fabulous! It was a cold weekend but the fireplace kept us cozy. The bedrooms were very comfortable; the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and utensils; the view of the dock and lake were fabulous. We saw hundreds of sand hill cranes closer up than at the festival viewing site! It was too cold...
