"Three brothers and two wives met at the Lake House for the Sand Hill Crane Festival in Birchwood. First, the festival was so interesting and fun and a must do if you like birds. Second, the cabin was fabulous! It was a cold weekend but the fireplace kept us cozy. The bedrooms were very comfortable; the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and utensils; the view of the dock and lake were fabulous. "We had 4 adults and 13 players on this trip. We never had any issues with not enough room. All the girls had a blast. The house was close to town but far enough out to feel private! I highly recommend this for future stays. "

"Loved the property and the house! There was fishing for the boys, hot tub for the teens and adults and plenty of yard for the kids to run around and play. The property owner felt like the uncle in Tennessee I’ve never had! Haha! House is was stocked with household supplies and made it very convenient and affordable to stay! We are wanting to make this place a yearly stay. "

"The cabin was a perfect retreat for our Christmas getaway to Chattanooga. It is located just minutes from all the main attractions Chattanooga has to offer but nestled away in a quiet wooded area. "The home was more beautiful than described. The view of the lake was spectactular. Enjoyed seeing so much wildlife from waterfowl, eagles, songbirds to deer from the cozy and warm den. Very private but meeting an occasional neighbor walking their dog was nice too. For those looking for a summer vacation this home would be perfect as well. I came to attend the Tennessee Sandhill Crane Festival which was great. "

"This was the perfect fishing cabin for my partner amd I. Very private and safe, great place to park your boat at night. We never eat out so the cabin kitchen was perfect for are evening meals. Highly recommended and I'm planning staying there again when I come back to Tennessee to fish."

"We really enjoyed our long stay here! This cabin has the most beautiful view! I love it that much of this place is homemade. I love that they pour a lot of love into this place. We heard coyotes and owls at night. My dogs enjoyed the huge yard on the top of a hill. We will be back! Owners communicated often. The place is decorated very nicely. We enjoyed this stay immensely!
