"A beautiful hotel in a great location. Christmas decorations were lovely too - class! The parking options were very good. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were helpful and welcoming. This is our favourite place to stay in Cheltenham. We will be back!"

"Amazing stay at the Lansdowne! The staff/ hosts were extremely friendly, hospitable, kind, and helpful. The room was cozy and had everything I needed. The breakfast was excellent and I enjoyed it every morning. Highly recommend the property if you are staying in the area!"

"Check-in was simple, we were emailed a door code so completely contactless. We were expecting a double bed room, but got two single beds so we just pushed them together. Amenities are pretty basic but the location is good for visiting Cheltenham and the cost is good value so was about as expected."

"This hotel was a grower on us. Very old and looking tired in certain places, the welcome on arrival and at all times on reception, plus the great breakfast and pleasant staff made it a convenient and nice two nice stay. "

"Lovely large rooms, with kitchenette. Good sized bathroom with shower/bath. Location is great, with bus stop just outside. Which is great with Oxford's very regular, clean public transport. Parking is a little tight, but very welcome. Overall a lovely place to stay and would definitely stay again."

"Stayed in the balcony room, was absolutely fantastic, so spacious and comfortable, had a mini kitchen with microwave and all equipment you could need for a short stay. Excellent location to walk to shops and restaurants. Parking available outside, approx £4 for 2 hours, but from 6pm - 8am it is free, we got up at 8am to put a ticket on just in time before the Traffic Warden arrived so be aware of this. Only issue we had was that you are unable to control the heating in any way. Room was cold...

"The Banbury Cross B&B puts a number of hotel chains to shame, from being greeted by the host through to the facilities and breakfast. Great place to stay, slept like a log and was fully refreshed for the drive down to Kidlington for work. Highly recommend this B&B."

"Perfect central location with complimentary parking. We stayed in the deluxe room with the bath which was lovely and spacious over two floors. It was modern, high-end finishes, clean and well equipped with cups, glasses, plates, bowls, cutlery, Smeg fridge, kettle and a Nespresso machine. New years stay

"We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve stay! Our first time at the hotel, was a lovely area in the Cotswolds to stay in. The restaurant was sadly shut for a private event however we used Marstons next door which was great. We did hear of fireworks which we asked reception and they said we were unable to watch which was disappointing. Cookies on welcome was a lovely surprise and the room was very stylish and clean. The only points I would say is the tea/coffee facilities in the room could do with modernising & the £5 car park charge was a shock to us when we’re checking out as we was not advised at check in. Breakfast was really fresh and varied selection. Overall a great stay and would come back again :)"

"As a family party of 11 adults, 2 young children and a dog, this was an ideal place for us all to meet up and to exchange Christmas presents in a peaceful lounge area. Staff were friendly and helpful, making sure we had all we needed and the rooms were quiet and very comfortable. The building itself is impressive and only a short walk to the town centre."

Lovely little stay

"It is such a lovely hotel. It smells just drvine and this was my third stay. The 2nd time in this room actually. Sadly the bathroom floor did have some small flecks of dirt, the bath had rust on and we were unable to get the plug out of the bath. These are such small minor things but are worthy of note. The staff were fabulous as usual. The communal eareas were beautifully decorated for Christmas. And whilst ive already said it it is worthy if a second mention. The hotel smells amazing! "
