"Convenient location. Walking distance to Taipei Main Station and Taoyuan Airport MRT. Couple of dining options nearby. Easy to check in and check out. Common area is clean and has everything we needed. The room is adequate. Shower has good water pressure. Staff service is inconsistent though, some were friendly and some were unfriendly when we asked questions. Overall a good stay and value for money."

"Cons: Cleanliness of the room, particularly bathroom, can definitely be improved on. Would also appreciate having the dryer repaired in the facility so travellers can do laundry within the hotel. Pros: very convenient area with the biggest station nearby within walking distance to get around the city of Taipei. Many food/dine options and convenient stores for those late night cravings. The infamous Ximending is only a 15 minutes walk for me ;)"

"Good for the location but the bathroom was very dirty, i requested if someone can clean the moldy wall of the shower they said yes but no one came and clean it. The bathroom should be clean and taken care of given they have 6 people that uses it."

"Super convenient place to stay, staff are friendly and bar downstairs has great local beverages. Tasty breakfast too. The shower room is a little small but facilities overall were good value for money. I would stay again when travelling solo and for a central location in Taipei."

"Property is fairly nice and very aesthetic. Also quite clean! The staff are friendly too! Location is convient, but the entrance is in a shopping area that closes after 9 or so and you have to take a back entrance if you come back late. Bathroom facilities are also not amazing, there are no good places to put your clothes and towel while you shower and there is only one bathroom per gender. Overall quite decent, especially for the price. Would stay again!"

"All of the staff were very helpful in answering any questions, and if you arrive before check-in time you can leave your luggage with them in the meantime. The property itself had all the amenities I needed, and the rooms, bathrooms, and common area were all cleaned frequently. The location is amazing, as it is right by 台北車站/Taipei Main Station and a quick walk to 西門町/Ximending! I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable stay in a good location!"

"Really enjoyed the Madison. It’s located walking distance to the metros and neighborhoods without all the noise. The staff was very polite and helpful. They offer a nice breakfast for a reasonable price with good coffee. I would def stay there again on my next trip to Taipei "

Excellent stay but can be better

"It was great. From check in till check out it was excellent. Housekeeping is immaculate and efficient. We love the breakfast and that we can choose to have it in either Rainbow Terrace or Park Avenue. The spread is good and every day there is some different items. However if there were more different items it would be much better. The room is spacious and comfortable BUT the pillows are too soft; almost flat. And as a Gold member of Hotels.com I was disappointed that I was not upgraded even though I booked 3 rooms. At least upgrade my room it would be great so my family can gather for nightcap."
