"Arrived Sunday afternoon. Welcomed by the multi tasking receptionist. Warm and friendly booked in shown to our room. Old timber beams ,great view of buckfast village. Ample tea coffee etc,compact shower and bathroom. Ideal for our needs, good price and a bar with more types of Gin thans good for you, lovely stay"

"We was greeted by the owners and treated like royalty.. our rooms where very clean and comfortable.. would highly recommend it has we will definitely be staying there again and it’s worth the price which includes car parking where other charge £9.50 per night … congratulations to the owners for making our stay so memorable and everything else."

"Clean single room with private bathroom. Bed is standard pillow is fluffy. Towel is clean and fully disinfected. Host is nice and shared me information of attraction in Paignton. I had a late request on parking and she managed to arrange that. Superb service!"

"Absolutely amazing. We love our weekend stay from first minute. Jan and Steve very friendly and professional. Property very clean and nicely decorated. Our room very cosy ✨️ bed very comfy we had very very good sleep. We was there with our dog which was just spoiled. You have in the room everything what you need. "The staff were extremely helpful and on hand if and when we needed them. This is an old building which has kept its character which added to the experience. The room had an en-suite and was clean and the water was nice and hot. They don’t do evening meals but Okehampton is not far away so eating out is not a problem. Breakfast was excellent and plenary of choice."
